In 2018, we took the first steps with TEEM, convinced that technology could help us take care of each other. A series of obstacles forced us to pause, but we never abandoned the mission. Today, with a renewed team, new tools, and reinforced processes, we are re-launching TEEM: the application that turns the community into its own security network.
We’re starting in Mexico and the United States, and will soon be coming to more countries.
What Makes TEEM Unique?
TEEM combines the strength of communities, mobile technology, and artificial intelligence to create a security ecosystem accessible to all. These are its main functions:
Alert
When you activate an emergency alert, TEEM immediately notifies nearby users and your “Help Network”, no matter where they are. Thanks to its artificial intelligence, the application guides you to resolve the situation in the most efficient and safe way.
Quick Activation via Bluetooth
An external button can activate the alert without even touching the phone, because speed can save lives.
Zone Monitoring
Define surveillance zones (your children’s school, your home, your parents’ home, your work…) and receive notifications if something happens in those places.
Interaction in Crisis
In risky situations, share photos, videos, text or voice messages. The app can even recommend contacting local authorities.
Security Networks
Create security networks with family, friends, neighbors, or colleagues. If an emergency arises, they will be alerted regardless of the distance.
Follow Me (Coming Soon)
Allow your loved ones or friends to follow your journey in real time only when you request it. Always respecting privacy.
Citizen Reports
Report abnormal situations in your neighborhood and organize your neighbors to resolve them. TEEM’s artificial intelligence suggests and/or helps prioritize and channel solutions.
Citizen Actions
Propose improvements for your community and organize collective actions. From a safer intersection to public lighting: together we can achieve real changes.
Neighbors
Organize projects or solutions directly with your building neighbors. Security starts at your doorstep.
Privacy & Anonymity
Your safety doesn’t mean sacrificing your privacy. In TEEM, the identity and location of users are kept anonymous. Notifications are only distributed when it is really necessary.
